Corina Van Sluytman specializes in all aspects of elegant and unique wedding invitations and event invitation design, dupioni silk boxed invitations, silk folios, custom monograms, coordinating items such as ceremony programs, menus, place cards, table numbers and thank you cards. In addition to classic wedding planning, we also design birth announcements and baby and bridal shower invitations. Based in Southern California serving Los Angeles and Orange County she also works for clients in New York City, Manhattan, Toronto, Oakville, Miami and London England.

Corina Van Sluytman is the Owner and Creative Director of Bella Invites - Couture Event Stationery.
As an award-winning Graphic Designer, she has an aesthetic eye and a passion for design and typography. Corina has many years of experience in the advertising and design industry. She achieved her Bachelor of Arts at the prestigious Queen's University and honed her design skills with a post-graduate diploma from Humber College in Graphic Design.
Corina has personally created an array of exquisite wedding and event invitations which have been featured on television and in numerous print publications such as The Knot, Elle, WedLuxe, Real Weddings, Destination Honeymoons and Weddings, WE Network and Slice Networks just to name a few.
One of her elegant creations is sure to match your personality and reflect the envisioned theme of your special day. The couture creations are all original designs and handcrafted with the utmost detail. They are created using only the finest imported papers, Dupioni silk covered boxes and envelopes, embellished with sparkling jewels, high quality satin ribbons, and are all professionally printed.

She is dedicated toward making the invitation design process an enjoyable and collaborative experience for you.
1. CONSULTATION
The first step in beginning your Custom design is a Consultation by email, phone or in person. This should take place a minimum of 4-6 months before your wedding date. With this initial meeting we will discuss your ideas for your event, find out more about your personal style in order to create a unique Custom design to accurately reflect you and your event. We will then email you a detailed quote and give you a specific time line for completion of your invitations. If you are interested in one our designs from our current Collections, you can easily order a Sample by going to our "Prices and Ordering" page to download the Sample Order form to fill out and fax to us.
2. DESIGN
Once you have decided on an invitation design you can place your order by printing off the Order Form, filling it out and faxing it in to us. Or you can also call our toll-free number to place your order over the phone. We require a 50% Deposit and the remainder at time of shipping or pick up, we accept Visa or Mastercard. We will then design your invitation layout and email you a digital proof for your feedback, we will make any requested alterations and email it to you for final approval.
3. APPROVAL, PRINTING and SHIPPING
When the design is to your satisfaction, you will then give us approval for printing. All of our creations are professionally printed with the utmost attention to detail. After printing, we will meticulously assemble it and then contact you to either pick up your order (locally) or have it shipped via UPS.
TIMING
Please note that due to the hand crafting involved in some of our designs, the entire design process from consultation to finished production can take anywhere from 8-12 weeks depending on the design. Therefore it's important to order Samples and book your Consultation as early as possible so that it is a relaxed and collaborative creative experience for you.
COORDINATING ITEMS
For that seamless look, we also design seating charts, place cards, favour tags, ceremony programs, menus, table numbers, thank you cards, return address stickers to coordinate with your invitations.
SPECIAL SERVICES
"White Glove Service" is a unique program where we manage your Guest's Address List, the Calligraphy process of the Addresses, affix the postage and execute the mailing of your invitations in a timely fashion. "Call Zigraphy Service" is available to our clients who enjoy the elegance of the handwritten word. Our Calligrapher offers over 25 years of expertise and skill. Have your guest's addresses and place cards written in calligraphy for that special finishing touch.

Q. Do you design Custom invitations?
A. Absolutely! We specialize in exclusively designed custom invitations for our clients. Each design is created from scratch and crafted to reflect your own unique personality as a couple and the envision theme and elegance of your wedding day or event.
Q. What are your Prices?
A. Our 2008 Price List available on our "Samples and Orders" page. This list has all the pricing for our "Ready-to-Wear" designs from our four Collections seen here on our site. For Custom designs and other stationery pricing please contact us for a detailed quote.
Q. How do I order a Sample of your invitation designs?
A. Ordering a sample is a great idea so you can view our quality designs in person before your place your order. You can order as many samples as you wish, however there is a cost per sample (see our Price List) this cost will be credited back to you once you place your invitation order with us.
Q. Do you have a minimum order? If so, what is it?
A. Our minimum order is 50 invitations.
Q. When should I place my Invitation Order?
A. It is our suggestion that you place your order at least 4-6 months before you plan to mail them out. This way you can enjoy a relaxed design process and ensure that you have enough time for all your preferred finishing touches such as customized monograms, your guest's addresses in calligraphy or personalized postage stamps.
Q. How many extra invitations should I order?
A. We recommend that you order a minimum of 10-15 extras because it will cost much more if we have to print a couple of extras down the road.
Q. Can you design a Custom Monogram?
A. Yes, we can design a Custom Monogram that incorporates your initials and/or specific motifs (i.e. a tree, flower or a Celtic symbol) to uniquely represent you as a couple. This monogram can be carried throughout your entire wedding stationery suite, from invitation to menus to place cards, etc.
